Interpreter Eligibility & Qualifications
Interpret Group works with a small, highly vetted network of professional interpreters supporting international conferences, government programs, and corporate events.
We do not offer entry-level opportunities, casual assignments, or over-the-phone interpreting. Only interpreters who meet the criteria below should consider submitting credentials for review.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, all candidates must meet every requirement listed.
- Minimum 5 years of documented professional interpreting experience
- Demonstrated experience in conference, institutional, or corporate settings
- Native-level fluency in approved language pairs
- Level A proficiency only. Level B or C candidates are not reviewed
- Proven ability to work in:
- Simultaneous interpreting
- Consecutive interpreting
- Experience working with professional audio and booth environments
- Familiarity with preparation protocols and terminology management
- Ability to collaborate with project managers and technical teams in English

Exclusions
Interpret Group does not engage interpreters for:
- Over-the-phone interpreting
- App-based assignments
- Legal aid or immigration appointments
- Weddings or private ceremonies
- Entry-level or training opportunities
Language Pair Evaluation
Interpreter considerations are based on language pair demand and demonstrated mastery.
We assess:
- Subject-area depth
- Prior conference-level assignments
- Preparation discipline

Qualified interpreters may submit their CV, references, and credentials for review. Submissions do not guarantee review, onboarding, or future engagement. You can only send your inquiry to our email address. We do not review any submissions sent via our social media or live chat channels.
