The Thrombosis Research Institute (TRI) is an independent academic research charity devoted to bringing new solutions for the detection, prevention and treatment of blood clots. Headquarters in London, TRI remains one of the few research institutes solely devoted to working in thrombosis.

Challenge
The Institute’s Events Coordinator contacted us to help organize an international conference in Mexico City, Mexico for its Latin American members.
They needed a team of qualified interpreters covering both Spanish and Portuguese languages and dialects, as well as conference interpreting equipment rentals, and someone to help manage the logistics.
Solution
We were able to offer a one-stop solution – sourcing highly-skilled interpreters at rates that our client felt comfortable with, and provided clear and prompt communication. Even with a six-hour difference the client never felt out of the loop.
Our dedicated International Project Manager explained all the technical details and mapped out an easy logistical plan that would save them money in the long run – by implementing what is called a relay setup in order to avoid the need for English to Portuguese interpretation, which was prohibitively expensive in the local market.
